the best song ever

It has always been difficult for me to choose one movie or song ever, but I try my best. I like a lot of different genres of music so just picking one song is hard. But I'm just going to choose the song “It’s not the same anymore” by Rex Orange County because for me it has a deep meaning. The lyrics of the song it’s…sad. It talks about the struggles of growing up, the changes that we reach through our life and how that makes us feel. I always listen to this song when I feel that the things are overtaking me. Or when I overthink, which is usual. I love Rex's voice so much, it really calms me. 

Reminds me of a version of myself that was scary of the future and how things will be. I’m still afraid of all of it and maybe the feeling will never go away. The song helps to understand my thoughts and worries. The ending of the song gives me “hope” I think, because he said “It’s not the same anymore, It’s better”. So, perhaps the future won’t be as scary as I thought. Or maybe yes, we don’t know. Everything is uncertain.
